Was it a "surprise" for Jason - that his mom was able to go to Brazil for his graduation? Well,...it was up until the day we arrived. Jason began to put some "pieces" together...unintentional hints...and when he tried repeatedly to call me, after Dan was supposed to have left, and he couldn't get ahold of me on my cell phone...he put 2 and 2 together and figured it out. But his smile of welcome made it FUN anyways and the JOY of sharing his last end-of-the-year activities with Jason is one more precious memory to store up and THANK GOD for His gracious provision for me to have this special JOY. "Thank you, God, from the bottom of my heart."

Yeah, I know this pix is fuzzy. Our camera is temperamental...due mostly to the one who operates it, no doubt. The banquet theme was a sports touranment - with the center being a soccer field for the Cup.

Jason played the "villain" in the high school play. His rival, Taylor, was trying to "take away" his girl - Kristyna - and he stooped to naughty tricks to try to regain her favor. It was cute and well-done. (The play was the one Sharon's class was going to put on when she was a senior - but they ended up cancelling due to the tragic accident that took the life of Gina and injured several others.)

Jason won alot of ribbons. He won first place on the 5K and softball-throw.

Jason's graduation from high school was memorable and marks the beginning of a new phase for him as he returns to the States for Bible School this Fall and then college...We are proud of our youngest son -and very happy to have him home again for the summer!!
