Jason came to Missouri to play football.

Jason came down from Wisconsin to play football one weekend. NTBI against MTC. We won. Sorry, Jason.

Of course we made time for some table games. Taylor (Jason's best friend from Via school days, who is also at NTBI - came to play on the team, too - as well as other new friends.)

Our 3rd Semester at MTC Missouri

I had the privilege of flying over the Lakes in a small plane at our Kodiak event the beginning of the semester - a community event for the public to become acquinted with NTM's missionary work (especially our flight program.)

We started the semester with a potluck at the lakefront. This is my Outreach ministry team - I volunteer along with students for their weekly Outreach with the Pregnancy Help Centers in the area.

I've enjoyed helping prepare coffee for the morning breaks between classes. It's a great opportunity to get to know students.

Re-discovering a child's delight in the "simple" things - bubbles are fascinating - an even harder to "catch" ...

Aunt Joy is fun! Even climbs with me...

We had a great day of fun at a waterpark nearby.

Goodbye, Joy...back to college in Lexington, KY at the end of our wonderful summer with Joy at home with us in Missouri.

Ellen's 3rd Birthday

Ellen loves "tickles" - so, of course, Sa'i got her a jarful for her birthday.

Following in mommy's footsteps, Ellen will learn to be a loveable nurse..

-especially, when her friend Kessa (who lives across the hall from Grandpa and Grandma) came over for her first tea party on August 4th, 2008, - Ellen's 3rd birthday!
